Five aspects to consider when exporting high-temperature wire and cable

Currently, many domestic high-temperature wire and cable enterprises are entering the foreign market. However, compared to local products abroad, the competitiveness of China's high-temperature wire and cable products still needs to be improved. Especially when some enterprises act rashly without understanding foreign industry standards, it puts their development in an awkward position. As a well-known brand in the high-temperature wire and cable industry, Chuncao has achieved certain results in the foreign market. Here are five aspects to consider when exporting high-temperature wire and cable.
1. Technical standards: Foreign high-temperature wires and cables generally require the adoption of advanced standards such as IEC, British Standard, and American Standard. Therefore, it is not sufficient to be familiar with domestic standards alone; one must also be familiar with international standards.
II. Laying Conditions: The environmental conditions in regions such as West Asia and Southeast Asia are relatively special. For example, in some areas, the maximum temperature reaches 50℃ and the average daily temperature is 40℃. Therefore, technical parameters related to the environment (such as the correction factor for current-carrying capacity) should be specified in the technical documentation.
III. Structure of High-Temperature Wire and Cable: Due to the laying environment of high-temperature wire and cable, the structure of high-temperature wire often has some additional requirements in addition to meeting standard requirements. Therefore, enterprises should pay attention to these during the design and manufacturing process of high-temperature wire.
IV. Packaging of High-Temperature Wire and Cable: For exported high-temperature wire and cable, the delivery reels are typically of large-sized or steel reel structure, and are fully enclosed with iron sheets or wooden strips. In addition to considering the length of the high-temperature wire on the reel and the minimum allowable bending radius, the size of the container must also be taken into account. Strict adherence to the ordering requirements is essential. Since the packaging of exported high-temperature wire is more complicated than that for domestic use, it can affect the cost and delivery time of the high-temperature wire. Therefore, attention should be paid when ordering.
V. Other precautions: Before shipment, the user should be provided with main technical parameters, cross-sectional drawings, laying instructions, and other relevant information for high-temperature wire and cable. Test reports should also be shipped together with the goods. Technical information should be complete and intact; the manufacturing length of high-temperature wire and cable should be strictly controlled, and the error in delivery length should be minimized. All export products must be inspected by the national commodity inspection department and issued with a commodity inspection certificate.
With the acceleration of global economic integration, domestic high-temperature wire and cable enterprises will inevitably expand their market competition beyond the domestic market. Foreign markets represent a broader stage for growth. It is hoped that domestic enterprises can carefully consider the above five points before venturing into foreign markets and develop a development plan tailored to their own corporate conditions.
